Architectural Design:

We have experience designing a wide range of building types for a range of differing clients; projects that include residential, commercial, and institutional work, in scales that vary from whole buildings to small interior projects.

Residential: Custom residential projects represent the bulk of work.  Our completed projects range in both style and scale.

Commercial: Our projects have included office interiors, a retail showroom, assorted work for both the Bel Air and Hillcrest Country Clubs, and a new mixed use building in Santa Monica.

Institutional: We have completed design work on three different projects for the City of Santa Monica, including work on the historic carousel building.

Interior Architecture: We have worked on interior projects both as a sole designer and by teaming with different interior designers.  Principal Kyle Moss teaches in the interiors departments at both the Art Institute and at UCLA extension and has a strong background in both contemporary and traditional interior detailing.

Sustainable Design: As both educators and designers thinking about sustainability is essential to us.  With three completed LEED for home projects and with three more on the boards we are at the forefront of sustainable residential design.  Principal, Kyle Moss, in addition to informally educating interested clients about sustainable building systems and materials does so as well at both UCLA Extension and the Art Institute where he teaches a course specifically dedicated to such issues.

Sustainable Landscape

Too often landscape is pushed to end of the design process yet as the biggest single user of residential water, as an element which can provide passive cooling to a structure, and as a sustainable choice to enlarging a home through indoor/outdoor living, intelligent landscape design is essential.
